A vintage 1962 Masters Tournament badge from Augusta National, in excellent condition with its original string. The Masters switched to plastic badges in 1961, making these 1960s badges highly collectible. The 26th Masters, held April 5-9, was won by Arnold Palmer in a thrilling three-way playoff. Palmer, at 55, made his final cut at Augusta, leading after three rounds but faltering in the final round. He birdied 16 and 17 to secure a spot in the Monday playoff, watched by an estimated 16,000 spectators. The cut was expanded to include the low 44 plus ties and anyone within 10 shots of the lead. Out of 110 players, 52 made the cut at 149 (+5).
