The Kenai Chest Holster was designed as the ultimate way to carry a firearm when hiking, camping, backpacking or any other outdoor activity where having a firearm on your hip is inconvenient or impossible. After spending years struggling with poor options for carrying while in the mountains, we knew that there had to be a better solution to carrying in the woods. After dozens of prototypes, we settled on a design that allowed the firearm to be placed in a secure and comfortable position, ready to draw when needed. We settled on a blend of Kydex and Nylon for excellent retention characteristics, unyielding to weather and light weight. The Kenai Chest Holster is a perfect pairing with a modern firearm such as the Glock 40 MOS or a classic big bore revolver .
