The detail is excellent and features classic characters from the Anicent armies of Greece and Rose. Includes the Emperor, queen, officers and foot soldiers. The rook is a classic architectural column and the knight a horse mounted infantry leader.The chess board is also made from metal and has a distinctive burnished olive green finish and pillar feet on each corner. Made in Greece by world famous games maker Manopoulos.
