Our Fathers Valor: A True and Untold Chapter of History Hardcover – February 2, 2024

A true and till today an untold story of adventure, the many brushes with death, and a fight to survive the war. This story is based on handwritten notes from my father that share the experiences of a World War II Naval aviator hero and are blended into the history of that time. He flew constant combat missions while fighting through the islands of the South Pacific. Then he did a second tour of war, flying combat missions as a division leader from an aircraft carrier at Japan’s doorstep. Illustrating this story are many photos rescued from a shoebox stored in a closet for decades. Immediately the windshield was covered with oil so that I couldn’t see my line of flight.
