This is a Computer Aided Repair tool for diagnosing and repairing Philips TVs.
For authorized Philips repair technicians so you'll need access to Philips firmware and Compair software (can be found online through 3rd party sources). No software is included. Just the Philips ComPair II repair tool unit, the installation guide, and the user manual.
Units offers the following:
1. How to repair the chassis
2. Give detailed diagnostics, indicating problem areas. You do not have to know anything about IC or UART commands, ComPair takes care of this.
3. Speeds up repair time by automatically communicating with the chassis. All repair information is directly available.
4. TV software upgrades
How it works:
ComPair consists of a Windows based fault finding program and an interface box between PC and the product. ComPair is connected to the PC via a USB cable. For the TV chassis, ComPair and the TV communicate via a bi-directional cable via the service connector.
