High temperature wheel checks are available for application where heavy load vehicles stop frequently and will heat up the wheel to greater that 250 degree F in NORMAL operation. For example this situation occurs with some transit bus fleets. The solution is high temperature wheel checks with a maximum temperature rating of 450 degree F. The part numbering is similar to NORMAL wheel check with the "wch" follow by the letter "T" and then the numeric Sizing. An example of a high temperature check part "Wcht03".
